In addition to having in-house subject matter experts on the current training course offerings, Iteris is a leader in emerging fields such as data analytics. Data analytics is transforming our industry and will continue to do so for years to come, which is why this expertise will be important to embed in our current traffic training offerings where appropriate.

Fully Flexible Training Program Delivery

Smart mobility training programs can be delivered in multiple formats, from in-person instructor-led training to online instructor-led courses and/or self-paced, computer-based training courses – or hybrid programs that combine all three.

Trusted Advisor To US Department Of Transportation (USDOT)

Since 2001, Iteris has been an agency of record, providing training programs for the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the National Highway Institute (NHI), both sub-divisions of USDOT. Iteris is proud to develop, update and deliver training, supplemental materials and services to support training to advance the state of practice, and implement best practices for various FHWA education and training programs in the operations, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), transportation performance management and freight program areas.

Florida Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) Center

Led by TSM&O program manager Peter J. Yauch, P.E., PTOE and traffic operations program manager John Albeck, P.E., PTOE, Iteris' training program with the Florida LTAP Center, as well as FHWA-backed LTAP centers throughout the country, provides training and technical assistance to local agencies, and transfers innovative technologies, proven solutions, and reliable service to successfully address and meet the needs of local transportation communities. Iteris is a Florida Board of Professional Engineers Continuing Education Provider and can issue professional development hours.

National Highway Institute (NHI) Training & Development Program

Iteris is proud to continue to partner with the FHWA to provide the continued development, delivery and update of design for an NHI training and development program. Iteris supports statewide and regional ITS planning and deployment to encourage interoperability and connected and autonomous vehicle preparedness through in-class and online or remote workshops and training, and technical assistance.

Virtual Training Center And Remote Training Program for Iteris Detection Sensors

Iteris is proud to provide a virtual training center and remote training program that serves to meet the training needs of anyone using Iteris’ advanced detection sensor technology. Iteris' Training Center features training courses, certification tests, tutorials and a remote training package. With our remote training studio, Iteris is now capable of offering training five days a week for as many hours in a day that can be accommodated. The remote training studio houses eight complete stations containing Vantage Next, VantageRadius and Vantage Edge2 systems that have been fully assembled and installed, along with multiple monitors and cameras to capture every angle.
