Led by TSM&O program manager Peter J. Yauch, P.E., PTOE and traffic operations program manager John Albeck, P.E., PTOE, Iteris' training program with the Florida LTAP Center, as well as FHWA-backed LTAP centers throughout the country, provides training and technical assistance to local agencies, and transfers innovative technologies, proven solutions, and reliable service to successfully address and meet the needs of local transportation communities. Iteris is a Florida Board of Professional Engineers Continuing Education Provider and can issue professional development hours.
Iteris is proud to continue to partner with the FHWA to provide the continued development, delivery and update of design for an NHI training and development program. Iteris supports statewide and regional ITS planning and deployment to encourage interoperability and connected and autonomous vehicle preparedness through in-class and online or remote workshops and training, and technical assistance.
Iteris is proud to provide a virtual training center and remote training program that serves to meet the training needs of anyone using Iteris’ advanced detection sensor technology. Iteris' Training Center features training courses, certification tests, tutorials and a remote training package. With our remote training studio, Iteris is now capable of offering training five days a week for as many hours in a day that can be accommodated. The remote training studio houses eight complete stations containing Vantage Next, VantageRadius and Vantage Edge2 systems that have been fully assembled and installed, along with multiple monitors and cameras to capture every angle.
