Pushing the boundaries of roadside sensor capabilities, BlueTOAD Spectra CV combines wireless technologies – Bluetooth® (2.4 GHz), Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC) and Cellular Vehicle to Everything (C-V2X) (5.9 GHz) – into a singular, state-of-the-art roadside unit (RSU).

The BlueTOAD Spectra CV RSU combines DSRC/C-V2X with real-time and historical Bluetooth detection, providing the essential V2X interconnectivity for safety and mobility applications in connected vehicle initiatives, while providing synchronization with transportation agency travel-time and performance-measures based systems.

systems and vehicles, Iteris has developed a more accurate and secure method to find and match travel-time resources.

More Unique Detects, More Secure

Iteris’ BlueTOAD Spectra uses a variety of proprietary scanning techniques to search and match “discoverable” (unpaired) and “non-discoverable” (paired) based Bluetooth devices – adding greatly to the number of matches available for travel-time analysis.

Spectra only uses a portion of the device MAC address. As a result, this methodology for matching Bluetooth devices provides the most effective approach to ensure anonymity for the device owner.
