Iteris is proud to announce that it has been named 2021 Employer of the Year by Florida's Capital Area Chapter of WTS International – an organization dedicated to creating a more diverse, inclusive and equitable transportation industry through the global advancement of women.

This award honors an organization for recruiting, retaining and advancing women, with particular focus on:

  • the organization’s structure, including the number of women in executive and senior positions and those leading major initiatives;
  • career development plans and succession programs the organization has in place for women to advance within the organization;
  • how the organization provides continuing development for its female employees through professional education, professional organizations and professional development opportunities; and
  • how the organization encourages women students to enter the transportation field by providing internship opportunities, and how the organization supports WTS through memberships, sponsorships, and employee involvement at the local and international levels.
